Access to the path is denied

Description of Error:

One of the following errors occurs when attempting to apply an ESC patch.

Access to the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\dESCO\ESC\Patch1200Release.zip' is denied.

or

Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\dESCO\ESC\Patch1200Release.zip' is denied.

Cause of Error:

This error is caused by the fact that the user you are using to log into Windows does not have permission to write to the C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86) directory.

Resolution:

Log in to Windows as the local administrator account or change the existing user to be an administrator. Apply the patch after you do that and it will be successful.
