Ticket Parameter is Invalid

Description of Error:

When sending information to QuickBooks, whether saving customers, posting invoices, or the like, the following error may occur:

Ticket Parameter is Invalid

Cause of Error:

This error is caused when the connection between the QuickBooks program and the Accounting Server has been terminated abnormally, or when QuickBooks has been closed when using the Direct Connect method of integration.

Resolution:

If using the ESC Accounting Server program:

Close the Accounting Server and QuickBooks (if open). Restart the ESC Accounting Server and connect normally.

If using the Direct Connect method:

Close both ESC and QuickBooks on the machine that is getting the error. Reopen QuickBooks, and then reopen ESC.

Additional Information:

Closing and reopening QuickBooks alone will not resolve the issue.
