Change the date format in a word processing template

When applying a date code in a word processing template, ESC formats the date like this - 02/08/2006. This article will show you how to format the date to look like this, February 8, 2006, instead.

Before You Begin:

Make sure you have access to Manage Word Processor Templates within ESC.

Details:

Normally when you select Insert → Date from the Word Processor screen, the following code will be put into the body of the document - [DATEmm/dd/yyyy].

Instead of using that code manually enter this one in instead - [DATEmmmm d, yyyy]

Now when you print a document based on this template, it will show February 8, 2006 instead of 02/08/2006.
