Cannot use the backup file

Description of Error:

When attempting to create a backup from within ESC the following error is returned:

Cannot use the backup file 'C:\Service.dat_bak' because it was originally formatted with sector size 2048 and is now on a device with sector size 512.

The exact name of the backup file and sector size numbers may differ depending upon the circumstances, but the resolution is the same.

Cause of Error:

The backup file was created on a different computer. That computer was formatted using different sector sizes than the new computer.

Resolution:

Copy the existing backup file to a different location. Then run the backup again to the same directory with the 'Overwrite...' option selected.
