Why isn't my dashboard feed updating?

The right hand side of the dashboard is not updating.

Cause of Issue:

This is generally caused when your browser security settings are set too high.

Resolution:

To fix this issue, you can add the dashboard feed as a trusted Internet site. Complete these steps to do this:

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click Tools → Internet Options.
3. Click the Security tab.
4. Click Trusted Sites, then click the Sites button.
5. Make sure Require server authentication... is NOT checked.
6. Type (or copy and paste) http://admin.descosoftware.com/public/escFeed.aspx into the top field and click Add.
7. Click Close, then OK.

This will allow your computer to reach the news feed that populates the ESC dashboard. It may take your computer up to three days to update this in ESC. You can click the link you entered above in the interim to get the latest ESC news.
