Adding Equipment Manufacturers

When adding equipment records to your customers, it is very important that you enter the proper Manufacturer for the unit you're recording.  You could very easily type in the Manufacturer's name every time you enter a new unit.  But wouldn't it be easier to create a list of Manufacturers to choose from?  

You can do that by going to Customer Info → Enter Manufacturer List.  

To add new Manufacturers to the list, simply place your cursor in the next open space - represented by a "*" - and start typing.  Press Enter when you're done to save your entry.  You can also edit an existing Manufacturer in the list by double-clicking on their name.  When you're done adding or editing, click the Save button.

Manufacturers entered in this list will be available when adding new equipment records to your customers or when adding inventory items that will be posting to your equipment records.
