  • Hey Eric,

Thanks for reaching out to us! I'd be happy to help.

First, you'll want to go to the server computer. Hold down the Windows Key and press the letter R (Windows +R). Type in Services.msc and click OK.

Scroll down to SQL Server (ESC), right-click and select Restart or Start.
Scroll down to SQL Server Browser, right-click and select Restart or Start.
(Optional) Scroll up to ESC Connections Server, right-click and select Restart or Start.

Then, return to the workstation having issues, restart ESC and try again - it should be working!

Also, I went ahead and had our chat agents reach out to you proactively. If you see the Live Chat, go ahead and reply to them and they can keep on troubleshooting this with you.

And if that doesn't work, let me know!

  • ESC is down, not connecting to server, the suggestion on this page has two different suggestions actually. First one saying delete PlaysTV and Raptr, i do not have either of those on my computer. Second is a chat with Scott Haugsjaa, finding the SQL Server (ESC). I do not have that on my list either. I need assistance asap please.
